Our roots will always belong to the fog and shadows of Dagobah Base. For a long time, that hidden sanctuary was our lifeline — offering the perfect, impenetrable shield behind which we could regroup, heal, and plan. The leadership at Dagobah mastered the art of absolute secrecy, keeping the spark of our movement alive when the Empire looked everywhere else.
Why Chenataa?
To honor our journey from the still, protective waters of the swamp to a more active front, we named our new home after the Chenataa River of Kashyyyk. The Chenataa is a legendary waterway that carves a vibrant path through the ancient Kkowir Forest.
It is a river of deep historical significance, winding around the sacred Nyenthi'Oris Island and the Great Tree. In Wookiee culture, the Chenataa represents passage, continuity, and resilience — connecting the quiet, sacred spaces of the past to the living, breathing world of the present.

The Chenataa River winds through the ancient Kkowir Forest of Kashyyyk, curving around the sacred Nyenthi'Oris Island and the Great Tree. In Wookiee culture it represents passage between worlds — the connection between the dark, hidden depths of the forest floor and the canopy above where the light of freedom reaches.
